Stamps Take Crucial Win In Saskatchewan
The Stampeders are catching fire.
That's three straight wins for the Red and White after taking down the Saskatchewan Roughriders 37-31 at Mosaic Stadium on Friday night. The Stamps record improves to 8-8 in a critical time in the playoff race and sit just under the 8-7 Riders and 8-6 BC Lions in a congested West Division.
Calgary own’s the tie-breaker over the Riders, after winning tonight’s battle by more than four points.
Vernon Adams Jr. set a single-season career-high after surpassing 32 touchdowns on the season and 150 touchdown passes. The pivot was dialed in, throwing four touchdowns to four different receivers en route to the victory.

Saskatchewan responded with a touchdown of their own, but the offense kept rolling for the Stamps in the first quarter.
This time Adams threw a dime to Damien “Moose” Alford that resulted in a 48-yard touchdown. It marked the first touchdown of the season for the former first overall pick, who had two touchdowns in Regina last season.

Adams also found Erik Brooks in that same endzone last season when he threw his 100th touchdown pass.
The veteran passer didn't stop there. On the following offensive drive, VA connected with Jalen Philpot in the end zone off a four-yard reception for his fourth touchdown pass of the game and Philpot’s eighth of the season.
